The Alchemy of Wings

Hi Folks, I am popping into this site to let you know that as of June 2025, I will no longer have this site up and running. When I started this site a few years ago, I had big plans to devote my time to pollinators and native plant gardens. After I started working on this site and the Instagram to accompany it, I realized that I did not only want to write on pollinators and the plants they love. There is so much more that I want to talk about and share and so I felt that I needed a new name and a new site to go with it.

Enter…The Urban Forest Druid!!

I started the Urban Forest Druid blog just a little over six months ago and that will be where I will share my thoughts and hopefully spark some inspiration for my readers on many topics associated with being a Land Steward, an Urban Druid, a Forest Therapy guide, a Slow Living devotee, and more. I hope you will join me over there. There will still be a lot of content about pollinators and native plants, if that is what interests you, as they are a vital part of any thriving ecosystem . Besides, as a Melissa, how can I not talk about my beloved bees.
